At a company-wide meeting in 2013, the great team at APM learned that we would become employee owners of the company! APM is an ESOP company and we’re proud to tell the world.
In the simplest terms, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a retirement plan. But, in reality, it is much more than that: ESOPs motivate employees, increase productivity, improve worker retention, keep jobs local, contribute to business longevity, and so much more.
As employees we are also the owners of the company. With ownership comes responsibility. It’s up to each of us to keep the company healthy and strong!
